Flipped Learning Design: Principles & Practice

Participants will be sent the readings, documents and videos related to the course content.

“Flipped Learning” is a teaching strategy in which the traditional lecture and homework portions of a course are reversed. Students watch short video lectures at home before class, while in-class time is spent on hands-on activities, projects and active learning activities. Participants will have a thorough understanding of this innovative strategy and they will be able to successfully conduct “Flipped Classroom” design.

The course will present various aspects of Flipped learning model through experiential training and sample lesson designs. The methodological approach of this course includes ice-breaking activities, group debates, hands-on design activities etc.

In this course, participants will be able to expolore the 4 Pillars of Flipped Learning, theories behind the model and design Flipped Learning experiences using the most effective educational applications and Web 0.2 tools.

Course Evaluation Form & Feedback and Discussion Sessions At the end of the course the participants will fill in a form in order to get a detailed feedback for the effectiveness of the training.
